May 27, 2010
Are you concerned about Texas railroad crossing safety? Cars and trains have been part of our transportation system for decades. However, drivers can never be too careful when it comes to train and vehicle safety because train accidents can occur.
Unfortunately, that is just what happened to a woman and three children.
According to KWTX, a Texas train accident involving a car killed two boys riding in the car and injured a third boy as well as the adult driving.
The Texas train accident occurred at a crossing along a private drive near U.S. Highway 79 close to Rockdale. Investigators believe the woman driving the vehicle was not paying attention when she pulled into the path of the oncoming train, causing the train to crash into the car on the driver’s side during the Texas train accident.
Two of the Texas train accident victims, an 8-year-old and a 9-year-old, died as a result of the crash. Another was in critical condition and the woman driving the vehicle was in stable condition.
Investigators said the woman was the only one wearing a seatbelt during the Texas train accident. There were no warning lights or signals at the crossing where the Texas train accident occurred.
Have you ever been involved in a Texas train accident? Did you suffer Texas train accident or Texas auto accident injuries?
