Two firefighters injured in Houston fire accident

A Houston fire accident at a home on Linder near the Eastex Freeway injured two firefighters who were battling the blaze, according to KTRK.

The Texas fire and burn injury victims were hurt when they were battling the two-alarm house fire and the fire was pushed back on to the two firefighters.

One of the fire fighters burned his hands and another, who remains in critical condition, received upper body burns and is at risk for smoke inhalation as a result of the Houston fire accident.

The cause of the Texas fire accident has not been determined.

Toddlers blamed for Houston fire accident

Two toddlers are possibly to blame for a Houston fire accident that damaged 16 units of an apartment complex off of Country Place Sunday, according to KTRK.

The Texas fire accident may have begun because the two toddlers, ages three and one were playing with a lighter.

Several units were damaged in the Houston fire accident.  Eight of those units were heavily damaged due to fire. Eight others sustained smoke and water damage.

Firefighters determined that the toddlers accused of starting the Houston fire accident will not be referred to the Juvenile Fire Starters’ Program at this time because they are too young to understand the implications of their actions.
