Child killed in Houston auto accident

The Houston Chronicle reported that a child died when he was struck by a car in front of Queen of Peace Catholic School in Southeast Houston Tuesday.

The mother of the 2-year-old Houston car accident victim left her vehicle and walked across the street to speak with another parent in front of the school.

The boy climbed out of the car and ran after his mother but was hit and died instantly when another parent’s car struck him. The driver did not see the boy running after his mother.

The parents of the young Houston auto accident victim coached and taught at other Catholic schools in Texas.
