WFAA reported that a woman has died in a Dallas house fire that was caused by a candle used to light the home.

The Dallas fire victim, 76, was a well-known and loved woman in her neighborhood. Neighbors say the Dallas fire victim was always willing to lend a hand when needed.

However, after the Dallas house fire, authorities have discovered that her electricity was cut off due to nonpayment in January and that an illegal device was used to get electricity to her home for nearly two months.

A candle used to light her home caused the fire that killed the Dallas fire injury victim.
